Ah….. the sound of the countryside! It’s almost as good as rushing water for those who want to kick back and unplug from the noise of the city. My only question is…Why did you have to cut off their little beaks!!

We didn’t. They had the ends cut off before we got them. They do that to battery hens to stop them pecking each other (I learned that from an IELTS paper of all things!). We have no such worries here and I think they are growing back anyway.
